The Promoting Inclusive Education for Kids in the Turkish Education System Project (PIKTES) implemented by the Ministry of National Education organized End-of-Year Social Cohesion Activities in the project provinces with the participation of a large number of students and families.

The activities, carried out during the 2025–2026 academic year to support the social cohesion of refugee and host community students and their families, brought together students and parents through the outcomes of the studies conducted throughout the year in the fields of visual arts, music, sports and information technology (IT). Within this framework, exhibitions, concerts, sports tournaments, science fairs and various events were organized at school, district and provincial levels.

The activities provided students with opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and talents. Bringing together students and families from diverse cultural backgrounds through shared activities not only enhanced interaction but also contributed to strengthening their sense of belonging and supporting social cohesion processes.
